Dec 18 2010 marked a milestone and a new chapter for Limkokwing University of Creative Technology when DYMM Sultanah Pahang Sultanah Hajjah Kalsom DK was installed as its inaugural Chancellor in conjunction with the 2010 Graduation.

President of Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Lim Kok Wing, was awarded the prestigious Master Class Awards ASEAN Lifetime Achievement – Leadership in Transformational Education by the ASEAN Retail - Chains & Franchise Federation (ARFF) at the Sunway Convention Centre recently.

About 30 members from the Federation of Lim Association Malaysia gathered this morning at the Limkokwing Presidential Library to honour one of their clansmen, Tan Sri Lim Kok Wing, who was bestowed with the Honorary Lifetime President title for his achievement as the founder of the “world’s first university founded by a Lim”.

“We need to transform ourselves, our mindset and ways of doing things before we can attain the status of an Innovation Nation,” he said when receiving the Honorary Lifetime President Award from the Federation of Lim Association Malaysia at the university’s presidential library here yesterday.

Limkokwing University of Creative Technology made an impression at the 2010 WebAward Competition held recently, taking home three WebAwards in total and surpassing its showing at the same competition last year.
