
First Bostwana, then Lesotho and now Swaziland and with the opening of its latest network of global campuses, Limkokwing University of Creative Technology is bringing its model of creative and innovative programmes to this landlocked Kingdom of 1.8 million people.
It marks an important milestone in the journey of the University, a pioneer in promoting Malaysian education overseas, when it welcomed its first batch of 1,000 Swazi students to its campus in Mbabane recently.
Ms Nkonyane Nombuso Mathithi one of the lucky students to register on the Open Day is going to do Information Technology and is excited about her future now that Limkokwing is firmly rooted in Swaziland.
“I thought it’s such a good opportunity. No one should miss it because I think it is going to be one of the best universities here in Swaziland. I think it’s cool, it’s fantastic. My dream, my ambition to be the best in IT is now closer than ever”.
Innocent Wandile Mamba from the Faculty of Business Management finds Limkokwing Swaziland a landmark of beauty.
“I can say that the campus is so beautiful. I have been waiting since 2009 for this to happen. Now I can get on with my career ambitions right here in Mbabane. I think it’s a beautiful university”.
The Swazi campus will be the thirteen in the Limkokwing global network; the University continues to spread its wings internationally with more foreign campuses to be set up in the coming years.
They are the future of Swaziland, the architects of Vision 2022, the roadmap to transform the country into a modern, progressive and united society ready to face the challenges of the 21st century. Innocent Mamba from the Faculty of Business Management is sure “the campus is so beautiful” and will become a national landmark in his country.
By globalizing Malaysian education aboard, the objective is to support the local education systems there by producing industry-savvy programmes designed to produce graduates capable of transforming their countries.

“I think this is a well-recognised university. It is known everywhere in the world. You can go anywhere to get a job with a diploma or degree. It would be nice. I plan to open my own business in Swaziland right after graduating from Limkokwing”.
