A Book by the Father of Innovation

In conjunction with Prime Minister Najib Razak’s declaration for this year to be the Year of Creativity and Innovation, a compilation by innovation guru Lim Kok Wing was launched on 15 January 2010.

The ceremony, held in Westin Hotel, was officiated by Fadillah Yusof, Deputy Minister of Science Technology and Innovation.

The book, Innovation Enabling Transformation, offers Lim’s frank views on the need for Malaysians to acquire fresh knowledge to compete in tomorrow’s world through a compilation of speeches, articles, blog posts and other Limkokwing publications.

Innovation is seen as a rallying call for Malaysians on how to be more innovative before Malaysia can become a developed nation, and who can hand down advice better than the Father of Innovation, Lim Kok Wing himself.

Lim’s opinion offers an in-depth vision about how Malaysia can be potentially developed. It creates a path and a road map for everyone to assimilate and, together, be part of a more innovative and competitive Malaysia.

Lim is also the founder of the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Malaysia’s premier creativity university. The university has branched out to 12 countries in 3 continents with an enrollment of 30,000 students from 140 countries worldwide.
