Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr Lim Kok Wing, the Founder and President of Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, does not fit into any ordinary mould that would describe most entrepreneurs.
His journey has been closely linked with the economic and social development of Malaysia.
Singapore and Hong Kong have the most efficient bureaucracies, according to a survey of expatriate business executives in 12 Asian economies by the Political and Economic Risk Consultancy, with Malaysia in 7th spot, below Singapore (1st), Hong Kong (2nd), Thailand (3rd), South Korea (4th), Japan (5th) and Taiwan (6th).
